Biofert TE™ is a biologically manufactured fertiliser created through our internationally patented thermophilic composting technology. Using natural inputs — whole filleted fish nutrient, beneficial microbes, inoculum, phosphorus rock, and limestone — the process delivers a biologically active, highly plant-available source of balanced minerals for productive cropping systems.

Certified organic, Biofert TE™ provides a superior mineral balance designed to replace synthetic fertilisers such as superphosphate, while building long-term soil fertility. With high levels of Phosphate (4%), Potassium (4%), Calcium (25%), Magnesium (2.2%), and Sulphur (2%), along with a broad spectrum of trace elements, Biofert TE™ feeds crops in balance through biological delivery of nutrients.

Unlike conventional products, Biofert TE™ does not burn roots and can be applied close to the plant zone for efficient uptake. Its unique formulation retains minerals in the soil until required, reducing nutrient loss to waterways and improving nutrient-use efficiency. By combining plant-available phosphate, biologically activated lime, and trace minerals, Biofert TE™ strengthens soil biology, enhances plant resilience to insect and fungal pressure, and supports sustainable, high-yield production.

Application

Apply Biofert TE™ in line with fertiliser requirements as determined by soil test results and production objectives. For best results, incorporate into a balanced nutrient programme to support optimal plant growth and long-term soil performance.

General Application

Pre-planting: Apply 100 g/m² and incorporate thoroughly into the soil profile. Irrigate after application to activate nutrients.
Vegetables and flowers: Reapply every 6–8 weeks during key growth stages to support sustained performance in high-demand crops.
Established plantings: Apply 100 g/m² evenly around the plant dripline (outer canopy edge) to target the active root zone.
Seasonal programmes: At minimum, apply twice annually — typically in spring and autumn — or as guided by crop requirements and soil monitoring.
