ioFert Phyter® is a powerful biostimulant and biological crop protection tool approved for use in organic agriculture. Developed using Trichoderma viride spores and mycelia cultured in New Zealand, Phyter® enhances plant vigour, germination, and root development while naturally suppressing a broad range of soil-borne and foliar pathogens.
Available as both a seed treatment and a foliar preventative, Phyter® provides dual protection and growth stimulation. When applied to seed, it promotes stronger emergence, uniform stands, and resilience against damping-off, fusarium, pythium, ascochyta, and aphanomyces. As a foliar application, it suppresses diseases such as sclerotinia, phomopsis, fusarium head blight, and septoria.
In addition to its biological disease suppression, Phyter® acts as a biostimulant — improving nutrient uptake, enhancing photosynthesis, and helping crops recover from stress. The product’s unique formulation, based on phosphite (PO₃) combined with potassium, allows for rapid nutrient absorption and improved mobility of cations within the plant.
Phyter® is compatible with most fertilisers, herbicides, insecticides, and nutrient products, allowing seamless integration into existing nutrient management and crop protection programmes. When used in conjunction with Moana® liquid products, Phyter® significantly boosts microbial activity in both soil and plants, leading to measurable improvements in crop health and productivity.
