BioPhos® is a biologically activated rock phosphate fertiliser designed for both pasture and cropping systems. Made from high-quality reactive phosphate rock, BioPhos® is inoculated with a locally cultured beneficial fungus that produces organic acids. These acids partially acidulate the rock phosphate, making the phosphorus more readily available to plants while still releasing it gradually in step with crop and pasture demand.

While phosphorus is the primary nutrient, BioPhos® also delivers valuable calcium, contributing a gentle liming effect that supports optimal soil pH. Added fish hydrolysate enriches the fertiliser with trace organic nutrients, further enhancing soil biological activity and plant health.

Compared with highly soluble fertilisers like superphosphate, BioPhos® reduces the risk of nutrient loss to waterways and avoids the rapid “lock-up” of phosphorus in the soil.
